Avoid all foods containing salicylates. These include; Apricot, Blackberry, Blueberry, Dates, Grapes, Orange, Pineapple, Plum, Raisin (dried), Raspberry, Strawberry, Sultana (dried), Capsicum, Tomato, Almonds, Honey, Curry, Eggplant, Zucchini, Potato.

Include rice, oats and porridge into the diet.

Eat cold water fish such as salmon, sardine and herring for extra DHA.

Limit dairy and refined sugar.

Avoid foods containing nitrates (bacon, salami, luncheon), caffeine including chocolate, artificial colours and artificial flavours.
