Pregnancy Hospital Bag checklist

 

It is always good to pack your hospital bag at around 30 weeks, just so you know it is done and can forget about it until the time comes that you need it. 

 

For you

-Camera and extra batteries or charger

-Cell phone and charger (make sure you have plenty of phone credit!) Also handy to have your text message all done and saved in your phone ready to be sent when baby is born

-Refreshing facial toning spray

-Rescue Remedy

-Birth Time Calm Oil

-Hypercal Lotion

-Toothbrush &toothpaste.

-Face cloth

-Hair ties/headband

-Lip balm

-Arnica drops

-High energy snacks like barley sugar, nuts etc for afterwards

-Drinks

-Contact lenses/glasses

-Pen and notebook or diary for filling out forms and writing about your magical experience

-Front opening pj's or maternity nighty for breastfeeding

-Dressing gown

-Slippers

-Maternity Pads

-Breast Pads and Nipple Cream

-Intimate Wipes (nicer than scratchy hospital toilet paper after labour!)

-Underwear x 6-10

-Breastfeeding bra's

-Hairbrush/comb

-Travel size skincare and haircare

-Small size body wash/soap

-Deodorant

-Wheat bag or hot water bottle

-Any medications needed

-Loose fitting/comfy clothing to wear home

 

For baby

-Carseat

-Baby Wipes

-Baby Massage Oil

-Newborn Baby Soother if needed

-Baby face cloths

-Baby socks and hats

-Booties

-2x size 0000 bodysuit 

-2x size 000 bodysuit (merino/cotton if winter)

-2x size 0000 baby gown or PJ's

-2x size 000 baby gown or PJ's (merino/cotton if winter)

-Muslin cloths

-Small warm blanket

-Warm going home outfit
