Easy to make, cheap and fantastic! No need to spend fortunes on expensive skincare regimes. Everything you need for healthy skin and hair is probably right under your nose... or at least in your kitchen!
For all hair types. Adds Shine to dull, lifeless hair
1 egg yolk
3/4 cup of plain yoghurt
Mix and massage onto your hair. Leave for up to 10 minutes and then rinse clean.
For all hair types. Leaves hair soft and shiny.
1 avocado
1 tsp wheatgerm oil
2 egg yolks
Mash all ingredients together and apply to hair and scalp. Wrap your hair in foil or gladwrap and leave for up to 20 minutes. Rinse clean.
Great for all hair types and can promote circulation to the scalp and hair growth. Great for dandruff.
2 TBS chopped fresh rosemary
1 Cup of boiling water
Infuse the rosemary in the boiled water for an hour. Once cool it can be strained through muslin to remove rosemary leaves and used or bottled for use another day. Use after shampoo and conditioner and massage into scalp and hair. No need to rinse your hair with water after as the idea is it will keep working until your next hair wash.

For all skin types.
3 TBS warm milk
1 tsp runny honey
Whisk milk and honey to a thin lotion. Apply to face and neck as you would a cleanser then rinse clean.
For oily and problem Skin
1 tsp manuka honey
1/4 cup plain probiotic yoghurt
1 TBS ground almonds
Mix ingredients and apply to face, massaging lightly. Leave for a few minutes and then rinse clean with tepid water.
For dry skin
2 tsp of olive oil
1/2 small avocado
1 tsp runny honey
Mix all ingredients and massage onto the face. Rinse with tepid water.

Great for normal to oily skin. Can help soothe breakouts.
2 TBS lavender flowers
2 cups boiling water
Infuse the lavender in the boiled water for an hour. Once cool it can be strained through muslin to remove any 'bits' and used or bottled for use another day. Keep in the fridge and apply with cotton wool when needed.

For normal to dry skin
1 ripe avocado
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Mash and when creamy pat the mixture onto the face. Leave for up to 20 mins and rinse with tepid water.
For oily, problem skin
1/4 cup fresh pineapple pulp (blended)
1/4 cup plain probiotic yoghurt
Mix and apply to face leaving for 15 minutes. Rinse and follow with lavender toner.
For dry skin
1 TBS fine oatmeal, soaked or cooked
1 egg yolk
4 TBS plain yoghurt
1 TBS runny honey
Mix all ingredients and pat onto face. Leave for up to 20 minutes and rinse with tepid water. Can substitute oatmeal for a mashed banana if preferred.

2 TBS olive oil
1 TBS seasalt or caster sugar
Combine and scrub where needed. Great for all skin types and will leave your skin glowing! Rinse thoroughly after use to remove all those dead skin cells. A drop of your favourite essential oil can also be added. Lavender and vanilla are great!
