Common triggers can be alfalfa, corn, peanuts, soy, eggs, carrots, colas, dairy, white flour. 

Flax oil can be added to porridge, salads, smoothies, etc. as long as it is not heated or added to hot food. 

Avoid gas producing foods such as cabbage, beans and broccoli. These can irritate the diaphram.

Don't eat extremely cold foods or drinks.

Try an elimination diet to identify any foods that triggers the asthma.

Include garlic and onions in the diet.  These help with inflammation in the body.
